The Prairie View A&M BSM Choir is celebrating their 76th Anniversary with a concert at the Community of Faith Church, 1024 Pinemont Dr. Houston, TX. It is presented by Bishop James Dixon II, Pastor. Guests include choirs from colleges & universities around the state of Texas. There is no admission cost.

New Faith Church Presents “Family Night of Worship”’A 35th Church Anniversary production, Friday, Feb. 24th at 8:00pm. This talented All-Star cast features Comedian Marcus D. Wiley along with gospel recording artists: Vanessa Bell-Armstrong, Maurette Brown-Clark, Ernest Pugh, and others.

Houston’s Leona Daniels is releasing her project, “Free to Be Me,” with a gospel star studded event, Feb. 3. 7pm at Good Hope Baptist Church 3015 N. Macgregor Way Houston, TX.

Kim Burrell, Kathy Taylor, Marcus D. Wiley, Hanq Neal, Shawn McLemore, Chad Stevenson and Houston Mass Choir are all featured guests at the event, which is also a fundraiser for the Oliver Foundation. There is no admission charge, but an offering will be extended.

Israel Houghton announced today (via @israelhoughton) that Israel & New Breed will be recording live at Lakewood Church in Houston, TX on Feb. 1st, 4th & 5th.

This is their first live recording in five years. The event is free to the public.
