Well-wishers came out to celebrate Dr. Bettye Ransom Nelson at her Birthday and Appreciation Concert last week. The concert was held at Jericho City COGIC, where her son, Brian R. Nelson is Pastor.

Performers and attendees included Houston Mass Choir, Ron Mattere, Nikki Ross, Chad Stevenson, Kenneth Owens II & Gospel Heritage Youth & Young Adult Choir, Shawn & Rhonda McLemore,  William Barksdale, Leon Lewis, Joey Oscar, Theola Booker and many more.

On Friday, May 20, 2011 7:30pm, Jericho City COGIC will be holding its “Unplugged Worship” event featuring: Chadwick Stevenson, Rhonda McLemore, Mark Taylor, Pator Derick Utley, the Voices of Judah Worship Team and Pastor Brian R. Nelson.

The church is located at 9311 Compton St. Houston, TX 77016.  Admission is free.

On Dec. 17th 2010 7pm, Jericho City COGIC will be hosting a Birthday Celebration for Dr. Bettye Nelson. Special guests include V. Michael McKay, Lecresia Campbell and others.
