Harmon West and Perfect Praise is presenting a benefit concert on August 6th at Victory in Jesus Evangelistic Center located at 4740 West Orem Drive Houston, TX. The event begins at 5pm and features Chad Stevenson and Zacardi Cortez. There is no admission charge.

A few gospel dreamgirls, will take the stage in a concert for a special holiday. The “3rd Annual Good Friday Concert” features Jennifer Holliday, Beverly Crawford and Vanessa Bell-Armstrong. Here’s a little  information about the ladies. Holliday’s role in Broadway musical, ”Dreamgirls” led her to stardom and her fame was reignited with the release of the 2006 film “Dreamgirls,” featuring Beyonce’ Knowles and Jennifer Hudson.  

She has a gospel project with her pastor, Rev. Raphael G. Warnock, entitled “Goodness and Mercy” that’s set to release April 19.  Beverly Crawford’s latest project “It’s About Time for a Miracle” has worked its way onto the gospel charts and is quickly becoming a staple in church praise music.

Vanessa Bell recently signed with Matthew Knowles’  Music World Entertainment label after decades of successful albums and is also a part of Houston’s New Light Church music staff.  These three vocal heavyweights will be performing April 22nd 7pm, at Gethsemane Missionary Baptist Church, located at 8775 Flagship Dr. Houston, TX  77029.
