On Sunday, March 15, 2015, 4:30pm, the Houston Gospel Announcers Guild (HGAG) will honor Lady Catherine Dorsey in an appreciation service to recognize her 18-year tenure as president of the guild. The event will be held at Fifth Ward Missionary Baptist Church, 4300 Noble Street Houston, Texas 77020.
Ms. Dorsey has over 25-years of experience and affiliation with the gospel music industry. She was elected president of HGAG, June 1997 and 2nd Vice President of Texas Gospel Announcers Guild (TGAG), June 2008. Additionally, Ms. Dorsey serves on the executive advisory board and host committee of the Gospel Music Heritage Month Foundation that annually produces the Gospel Music Heritage Month Celebration – “Evolution of Gospel”, a star studded and foot stomping event celebrating the history of gospel music.
Robert Washington – KMJQ Magic 102.1 FM, Letitia Jackson – KWWJ Gospel 1360 AM and Minister E.J. Strong – KWWJ Gospel 1360 AM are hosting the event.
