Carnel Davis & ITP nominated for 3 ‘Rhythm & Gospel Awards’

Houston, TX choir, Carnel Davis & Incorporated to Praise is nominated in the “Community Choir of the Year,” “New Artist of the Year” and “Contemporary Song of the Year” categories for the 2011 Rhythm & Gospel Awards. Davis is currently Minister of Music at Emmanuel Temple Apostolic Church in Houston where its church choir, the Levites, won the 2009 Verizon How Sweet the Sound Regional Mid-size choir category.

He is also a member of Ricky Dillard’s New Generation Chorale.  ITP’s single, “My Soul Says Yes,” is currently being played by radio stations across the country.

The Rhythm Of Gospel Awards is an event that recognizes independent gospel artists across the U.S. and is hosted by the National & Independent Gospel Music Association (N.I.G.M.A.).  It involves an internet voting selection process, which is 1/4 of the vote. Internet voting begins December 13th.
