Chester D. T. Baldwin to Record Live in Houston During 25/45/60 Celebration

National gospel recording artist and renowned choir clinician Chester D. T. Baldwin will return to Houston this fall for a live concert and recording as part of his 25/45/60 Concert Celebration. The milestone event recognizes his 25 years of recording, 45 years of music ministry, and his 60th birthday.

The live recording will be held Friday, November 29, 2025, at 6:11 p.m. at Riceville Mount Olive Baptist Church, followed by Church with Chester on Saturday, November 30, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at the same location.

Baldwin, widely known as the “Prime Minister of Praise,” has built a national reputation as a powerful vocalist, choir director, and workshop clinician. The late Bill “The Mailman” Martin once described him as a uniquely chosen artist rising “to take his place among the truly great gospel artists of all time.” A Liberty, Texas native, Baldwin has spent more than four decades leading choirs, conducting workshops, and presenting gospel music across the United States and abroad.

His work has earned recognition from GMWA, Stellar Awards, Soul Train Awards, Billboard’s Gospel Charts, and the Texas Gospel Music Awards. The Houston recording will capture this next chapter in his longstanding ministry.
