Several Houston natives have been recognized in the nominations for the 68th Annual GRAMMY® Awards, announced for the 2026 ceremony.
Darrel Walls received two nominations connected to his work with PJ Morton. Their song “Amazing,” written by Morton and Walls, is nominated for Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song. The pair is also nominated for Best Gospel Album for their collaborative project Heart of Mine.
Walls, a Houston-born singer and songwriter, appears in both categories as a credited artist and songwriter alongside Morton.
Houston native Yolanda Adams is also nominated in this year’s awards. Her album Sunny Days is nominated for Best Gospel Album. Adams is recognized in the category as the primary recording artist.
All nominations listed reflect the official categories released for the 68th Annual GRAMMY® Awards. Winners will be announced during the 2026 GRAMMY Awards ceremony.
