Rev. J.J. Roberson funeral set for July 17

Rev. Johnnie Jeffery Roberson 94, of Houston, Texas, passed peacefully into the arms of our Lord on Tuesday, July 10, 2012. He was surrounded by his family. Rev. J.J. Roberson was born March 27, 1918 in New Gulf, TX.

He founded and organized Mount Hebron Missionary Baptist Church, Inc. on January 8, 1958.

The Memorial Service will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, the 16th of July 2012 with the body lying in state from 12 noon to 7 p.m. at Mt. Hebron Baptist Church in Houston, where the Pastor Max A. Miller, Jr., is to officiate. The Homegoing Service will be Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. held at Mt. Hebron Baptist Church 7817 Calhoun Rd. (77033) also.
