Houston gospel artists top 2012 BET Awards nominations

Houston artists top the nominations in the Best Gospel category for the 2012 BET Awards.

Houston’s Yolanda Adams, Kim Burrell are James Fortune & FIYA listed, as well as Mathew Knowles‘ MusicWorld Gospel recording artists Trin-i-tee 5:7. Fred Hammond rounds out the category.

This year’s event is being hosted by Samuel L. Jackson. It airs July 1st, live from the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, CA on BET.
