Houston’s new minister of music, Demetrius West releases new single, “Your Name”

New Houston resident Demetrius West and gospel group Jesus Promoters have released their new single “Your Name” online. West took the helm of Riceville Mt. Olive Baptist Church‘s music ministry in 2021 after completing his assignment as Minister of Worship and Arts at Westside Church in Indianapolis, IN. His group was nominated as Traditional Choir of the Year at the 34th Annual Stellar Awards. He’s also released singles that hit the top 30 gospel charts and joined the Houston-based record label, Blacksmoke Music Worldwide’s roster in 2018.
