Johnny Johnson set for BET’s ‘Sunday Best,’ to hold celebration

Johnny Johnson has been a part of the gospel trio Created for Purpose for years, but he has stepped out on his own to become a part of the hit BET talent show, ‘Sunday Best’. After auditioning numerous times, he caught the attention of this year’s judges. He chronicled his experience on Facebook.

On March 23rd around 6:45p.m. as I stood on stage before Donnie McClurkin, Yolanda Adams and Cece Winans all three judges smiled at me and said, “YES!”after singing and then they said, “Put on your Sunday Best!!”. . . #IThenFainted. . LOL!!!!!! Please keep me in your prayers!!! Never give up on your dreams. .
