Legendary singer Shirley Baines to be memorialized, Feb. 8

Legendary music artist and soprano Shirley Baines passed away January 15 in Houston, as announced by Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. She is known as a founding member of the Houston NCGCC, Houston Grand Opera and Broadway performer.
