Texas musician Nick Jones passes away

The family of musician and artist Nick Jones announced on Saturday that he passed away while being hospitalized. Jones was a percussionist for various churches and artists in the Houston area including Lighthouse Church, The Church Without Walls, Carnel Davis & ITP, and Jabari Johnson, among others. He also led a group of musicians under the moniker, All-Star Entertainment Group.

A flag ceremony was held today with his family and friends at Memorial Hermann Heart and Vascular Institute in honor of him being an organ donor, an act that will save many lives.
