Gospel singer Leona Daniels opens up about her weight loss in a story by Houston Church News. She talks about what led to the weight loss and how she’s helping others.

Following the sudden death of her father at the age of 38 due to a massive heart attack, Daniels suffered a great deal of depression and anxiety that aided in her becoming obese at the tender age of 8 years old. Leona came to understand that the premature death of her father, her obesity and her battle with obesity were in fact a special call on her life to reach out to the world and because of this adversity in her life she decided to take a stand to help herself and others.
