Windsor Village to record ‘live’ choir project Nov. 21

10.20.2010– Houston, TX — “Spirit of a Grateful People” Live Recording presented by Pastor Kirbyjon Caldwell, Windsor Village United Methodist Church Senior Pastor and Family Mass Choir will be Sunday, November 21, 2010. This project is the second debut under the musical direction of Minister of Music, Kathy Taylor. “Spirit of a Grateful People” Live celebrates the beauty of the worship arts.

“Spirit of a Grateful People” project is a following up to the debut live album, Welcome To The Village! which featured the church’s choir and vocalists such as Dove Award Nominee, Brian Courtney Wilson as well songs written by the talented V. Micheal McKay. Windsor Village United Methodist Church Ministry of Music, Kathy Taylor has written & produced twelve (12) new songs to be preformed exclusively at the concert for the latest project.

Kathy Taylor, an accomplished National Recording Gospel Artist, Minister of Music, songwriter, producer and community activist has been appointed for a time such as this to bring music that not only inspires but encourages, uplifts, and heals the spirit and soul of mankind. Kathy is the walking embodiment of the term “Minister of Music.”

Stellar Award Nominee, Kathy Taylor says “This project will represent the pulse of the church.” Taylor’s latest album in which she executive produced entitled, Kathy Taylor Live, The Worship Experience. The album was released on her own music label, Katco Music Group. The Worship Experience is an amazing collection of songs which debuted at #6 on the Billboard Top Gospel Albums and #22 on the Billboard Independent Albums. This phenomenal album was nominated early this year as Stellar Awards Praise and Worship CD of the Year.
